SMS Opt-In Process

How Coaches and Team Parents Are Enrolled · Effective Date: April 19, 2026

The Cheer and Pom SMS notification service is operated by C2 Content & Consulting LLC, which owns and operates this website, the enrollment form, and the sending phone number. Messages are sent under the Cheer and Pom name.

Recipients of SMS notifications from Cheer and Pom are adult volunteers aged 18 or older who serve as head coaches, assistant coaches, designated team parents (sometimes called team moms), or the Cheer and Pom Director, and who personally opt in using their own mobile number. During the annual volunteer onboarding process, each volunteer enrolls themselves by completing the Cheer and Pom Volunteer SMS Enrollment Form, entering their own mobile number and selecting the consent checkbox. No one is enrolled on another person's behalf.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent is collected via a digital enrollment form. Each volunteer completes the Cheer and Pom Volunteer SMS Enrollment Form, which asks them to provide their mobile number and select a checkbox confirming the following consent statement:

"I agree to receive SMS absence notifications from Cheer and Pom via Twilio. Message frequency varies based on absences submitted for my team. Message and data rates may apply. I understand I can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for assistance."

Selecting the consent checkbox is optional and is not required to submit the form. Consent is not a condition of volunteering or participation. No messages are sent to any number that has not affirmatively opted in by selecting the consent checkbox.

Volunteers opt in by completing the Cheer and Pom Volunteer SMS Enrollment Form, entering their own mobile number and selecting the consent checkbox. Opt-Out

Any enrolled recipient may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. A one-time confirmation will be sent, after which no further messages will be delivered. Recipients may opt back in by replying START.
